Tyangboche is another village in khumbu region which is land of Sherpa community and lies in Northern East of Nepal at the altitude of 3867meters from sea level. It is 4hrs walk far from Namchee Bazar. This village is especially known for the Buddhist Monastery and Tenjboche Monastery which are largest gumba in Everest region. The structure of this gumba was built in 1923 and in 1934 it was destroyed by the earthquake with the magnitude of 8 rectors on 15th of January 1934. This Gompa was again reconstructed with the help of volunteers and foreign aid and in 1989. Again it was destroyed by fire .Lama Sangwa Dorje is referred as the founder of the oldest Monastery in Kumba at Pangboche as well as many other hermitage .Even though Lama Sangwa is referred as founder but the actual establishment of the monastery happened only during Ngawang Tenzin Norbu's time who is considered to be the fifth incarnation of Lama Sangwa Dorje.The panoramic and magnificent view of Himalayan Mountain including Tawache 6501m, Everest 8848m, Nuptse 7861m ,Lhotse 8516m, Ama Dablam 6856m,Thamserku 6608m and many more. While you are trekking,on the way you can see many animals like rare Musk deer, Himalayan Thar, colorful bird Danphe which is national bird of Nepal, Snow leopard, Yak and Mule which is means of transportation in this Himalayan region, Himalayan Black bear, mountain fix etc and the forest is filled with brich , Juniper, pine, Firs, Bamboo and Rhododendron which is regarded as national flower of Nepal. Not only the panoramic views can be glimpse from this region, we can also see the valley like Somare, Pangboche, Khumjung, Mungla Dada etc which represent their own beauty of Nature.
While you are in the trekking you can have the best chance to have nice view of the world's highest mountain Mt. Everest and other major Peaks. The Monastery is surrounded by Mountains and lots of different flora and fauna wherein the jungle has preserved wild animals.The monastery where Yaks graze on the small meadow and the monks drone through their prayers. Surely, this is one of the most beautiful spots in the world.
