One of the challenging rout of trekking is Salpa pass treks(5310,m), is offered by Passages Nepal in Nepal. The Salpa Pass trail is an interesting to walk into the Everest region following the Arun Valley. This trekking trail is known as an antique trade route used by local people to transport agricultural products to Namche Bazaar to Tibet across via the Nangpa la pass. Salpa pass is situated on the Makalu region just above Arun valley towards Lukla. The pass gives good views of the mountains to the north. We pass by along the holy lake Salpa Pokhari, beautiful waterfalls and many Sherpa villages. This trek begins from Tumlingtar and follows the Arun River until we turn into the Irkhu Khola valley. The highest trekking point in this route is Salpa Banjang at 3800m high and the highest camp site is at Salpa Kharka at 3600m. This trek is almost easy which offers you superb views of Mera Peak, Everest, Makalu, Amadablam and pumari.
