The trek to langtang village takes you through the forest, terrace field and its Tibetan origin people. This was a trading way before with Tibet .The animals and birds are often can appears. The jungle is Preserved by the langtang national park where the interesting birds and animals are enjoying.We can find Red panda which is rare in the world. You can see the original face of Tamang peaple in the rasuwa district. They are believed to be moved from Tibet and they follow the same culture and tradition similar with Tibetan calendar.

Trekking in langtang valley is very interesting with People and their work. They product the yak cheese at kyanjing gompa near the lake. The view of mountains are so good through the forest and villages.After trek to the Hight of 3740 mts you will easy down to the syabrubensi.

  • Day 01:Kathmandu-Syabrubensi(1340m) 7-8 hours
  • Day 02:Syabrubenis - Lama hotel (2380m) 6 hours
  • Day 03:Lama Hotel - Mundu(3543m) via Langtang village. 6-7 hours
  • Day 4:Mundu - Kyangjing Gompa(3870m) 4-5 hours
  • Day 05:Acclimatization -Explore Tserko Ri95000m) whole day
  • Day 6:Kyanjing-Lama Hotel 6-7 hours
  • Day 07:Lama Hotel - Syabrubensi 4-5 hours
  • Day 08:Syabrubensi -Kathmandu

Detail Itinerary

  • Day 01Kathmandu-Syabrubensi(1340m) 7-8 hours
    In the morning after break fast we leave Kathmandu for Syabrubensi, a village which is also the starting point for the treks into Langtang Valley. Our journey will be a winding road through frequently switchbacks. On a clear day we get to enjoy outstanding views of Manaslu, Annapurna and Ganesh Himal . Our trek for today ends with a descend into a small villages of Syabrubnsi. We spent overnight.
  • Day 02Syabrubenis - Lama hotel (2380m) 6 hours
    After breakfast, we begin our trek to Syabrubenis along the Langtang Khola (river). We ascend and descend simultaneously through oak and rhododendron forest. After crossing a suspension bridge over the Langtang Khola we ascend on a steep trail which will lead us to the Lama Hotel. We spend overnight.
  • Day 03Lama Hotel - Mundu(3543m) via Langtang village. 6-7 hours
    We start hiking to Mundu after having breakfast at hotel with the magnificent views of the snow capped mountains landscape with abundfant waterfalls. As we rich the green meadows of Ghode Tabela, We begin to see the white peaks of the Langtang range. OUr trail continues to climb up the widening valley, passing a few temporary settlements used by herders. We pass a Buddhist Monastery before reaching the Langtang village which was affected by the 25th April 2015 earthquake. We continue our trek to Mundu and stay overnight.
  • Day 4Mundu - Kyangjing Gompa(3870m) 4-5 hours
    Our journey to Kyangjin Gompa, a principal of Buddhist monastery of the region. We pass by water mills, buddhist prayer wheels, chortens, with sacred mounds of rocks with inscriptions carved on them. We also pass by the largest mani wall in Nepal, made from stone with prayers written on them. After the short trek, we spend the rest of the afternoon exploring the Buddhist shrine in Kyangjin Gompa and surrounding areas with the amazing views of the mountains.
  • Day 05Acclimatization -Explore Tserko Ri95000m) whole day
    We spend whole day exploring Tserko Ri which will also help us acclimatize to the high altitude . We begin early in the morning. The trail passes through Yak pastures before ascending to Tserko Ri. The sunrise view from the top of Tserko Ri is extraordinary . We get back to Kyangjin Gompa by late afternoon and explore the beautiful monastery while enjoying views of the Himalayas , glaciers, birds and Yaks.
  • Day 6Kyanjing-Lama Hotel 6-7 hours
    We step down towards the Lama Hotel. Most of the hiking for a day will be downhill as we pass through forest and beautiful Tamang Villages. We also get a chance to enjoy different view of the HImalayas that we had missed climbing up . Spent overnight .
  • Day 07Lama Hotel - Syabrubensi 4-5 hours
    We basically retrace our foot steps back to Syabrubensi. The trek will be easier as it will be mostly descending. Stay overnight .
  • Day 08Syabrubensi -Kathmandu
    After breakfast we start drive back to Kathmandu . We spend the rest of the day packing and maybe catching up on some last minute souvenir shopping .Passages Nepal will celebrate our successful trip in the Langtang vally by hosting a farewell dinner .
  • Day 09Fly back to home country
    We will drop you at the airport for the departure of you home country flight.
