Pashupatinath Temple is a famous, Sacred Hindu Temple located on the bank of Bagmati River 5km north-east of Kathmandu valley. This temple is considered one of the sacred temples of the Hindu faith. This temple complex is on UNESCO world heritage sites list since 1979. One of the oldest hindu temple in Kathmandu. The area of Pashupatinath encompasses 264 hectare of land including 518 temples and monuments.
Boudhanath Stupa is located about 11km (6.8mi) from the center and northeastern outskirt of Kathmandu valley. The stupas massiv mandala makes it one of the largest in the world . Boudhanath Stupa was listed in UNESCO world heritage site in 1979. This stupa was badly damaged by 25April2015 but at the present it is raised again and looks wonderful for the sightseeing.
Swayambhunath( Monkey Temple):
Swayambhunath Temple is commonly known as Monkey Temple. It is an ancient religious architecture atop a hill in the Kathmandu valley: west of Kathmandu city. IT is probably the most sacred among Buddhist pilgrimage site. The site has two access point a long stairway with 365 steps, leading directly to the main platform of the temple, which is from the top of the hill to the east and a road around the hill from the south leading to the southwest entrance.
Patan Durbar Square:
Patan Durbar Square is situated at eh center of the city of Lallitpur in Nepal. It is one of the three Durbar Square in the Kathmandu valley, This is also listed in UNESCO world heritage site. The Durbar Square is a marvel of Newa architecture. The Square floor is tiled with red bricks. There are many temples and idols in the area. The Square was heavily damaged on 25 April 2015 Baisakh 12 by a major earthquake. At the present is all set to be a beautiful sight seeing in lalitpur district of Nepal.
