Annapurna conservation area is the most visited trekking destination of Nepal. This trek allows knowing the local intimately and experiencing their cultural hospitality .This area treasures for Annapurna massifs, Machhapuchchhre, Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri. Behind the mountain is a living Tibetan civilization in the valleys of Mustang. Annapurna region is also famous for its Hindu religious shrine Muktinath temple. There is also world’s highest lake Tilicho lake at an altitude of 4919 m above sea level. Annapurna conservation area has been home to diverse flora and fauna. During the trekking season, the trail is accompanied by lush green forest of Rhododendron, chirping of birds and kaleidoscope of butterflies. The trail is clean with warm sun and cool mountain breeze. Trekking in Annapurna conservation area can range from 6 – 20 day trip depending upon time, sites and weather. In this Annapurna region we can have many trekking routes like Annapurna Circuit, Annapurna Base Camp, Ghorepani Poonhill, Siklesh, Dhaulagiri, Jomsom Muktinath and UpperMustang,virgin or newly Mardi Himal trek, Nangi Village Trek.  The best season to trek in this reason is February –March where you can view the natural beauties like Rhododendron, chirping of birds.
This region is occupied by Gurung, Thakali and Pun Magar with their own cultural dress, ornaments and mother tongue. If you go to Mustang reason trek then there you will find different people with their own cultural dress ornaments languages and this reason is ruled by king.
